Youth String Quartet Academy
You won't find a professional classical musician who hasn't studied the art of making chamber music. The musical and communication skills it develops are essential to any level of musician, whether a concerto soloist, orchestral player or life-long music lover who wants to play with friends. This is why we feel passionately about our Youth String Quartet Academy.
Available to string players aged between approximately 9-18 yrs old, young performers are placed together in groups of four based on musical ability and experience. Each quartet is coached by professional musicians twice a month. Coming from all over the Wirral, Liverpool and Cheshire, the quartets play anything from beginner-level arrangements to Beethoven, performing at least once a year in a variety of settings.
